My sole mates

People say that I am difficult to please, but I'll say  " my feet are the ones that are hardest to please". I rarely find the best pair that will perfectly and comfortably fit. It's either size fives are larger by 0.5 centimeters; or my feet will turn sore after a few minutes. Just like the cute green flats I bought while strolling in HK because I was chafed with the beige flats I wore originally. The two flats failed me so I just went home and treated my sore feet with pillows under it.

I encountered Sole Sister's flats in the September issue of Cosmo and initially searched them through google and facebook. The shoes have whimsical colors and designs and appeal to my kikay self and for months now, I am just a Sole Sister" overlooker". I was afraid to take a risk and buy a pair online knowing that my feet are just pretentious fives but more of a four and a halfs. Last month, they launched a game in Manila Shopaholic and from then on I started pestering my online friends, not-so-friends and totally-not-friends-but-they-just-added-me-so -what-the-heck to like my entry and earned 74 likes from them.

I first wore my free violet flats to work today (courtesy of Sole Sister). I thought at first it was hard to coordinate it  with my work casuals:  scrub blouse and white pants, but then the matching bag finished off the ensemble with perfection. The bag is so spacious, accommodating my Rothman notes and my laptop for school.

One co-staff asked  how did I win the shoes and bag, then somebody just blurted out: "Sa Facebook daw, baka patalinuhan." Her comment was really hilarious nevertheless what matters most is that my feet found their sole mates.
